Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform design decisions.
- Create user personas, user journeys, and scenarios to guide design processes.
- Design low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing.
- Ensure intuitive user flows and interactions for various digital platforms.
- Develop innovative and user-centered design solutions that align with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, visual designers) to ensure cohesive user experiences.
- Apply usability principles and best practices to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate designs and gather user feedback.
- Analyze usability test results and iterate on designs to improve overall user experience.
- Implement A/B testing and other methods to optimize designs based on user interactions.
- Create and maintain a library of interaction design patterns and guidelines.
- Ensure consistency and coherence in design elements, interactions, and animations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging interaction design patterns.
- Integrate accessibility principles into designs to ensure products are usable by individuals with disabilities.
- Advocate for inclusivity in design decisions, considering diverse user demographics.
- Effectively communicate design ideas, concepts, and rationales to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and cross-functional meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Interaction Designer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of interactive design projects.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with usability testing techniques and tools, and the ability to interpret and act on user feedback.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, intuitive designs.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and the ability to design inclusive digital experiences.
