Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and excellence in design.
- Oversee multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and priorities to meet client and company objectives.
- Develop and implement design strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and brand identity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design into product development, marketing, and other business activities.
- Review and approve design concepts, prototypes, and final deliverables to ensure they meet design standards and client expectations.
- Provide constructive feedback and direction to designers to enhance the quality of design outputs.
- Communicate with clients to understand their design needs, objectives, and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present and articulate design concepts and solutions to clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to drive continuous improvement in design processes and outputs.
- Integrate relevant trends and insights into design strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (15 years) in design, with a track record of successful project management and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and current design trends.
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage, motivate, and inspire a diverse team of designers.
- Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.
- Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute design strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey design concepts, ideas, and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
