Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities, target markets, and industry trends.
- Analyze competitors and market conditions to develop effective strategies for business growth.
- Identify and generate leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, online research, and attending industry events.
- Qualify leads and assess their potential to convert into viable business opportunities.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to showcase the company’s products/services and value proposition.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure new business deals and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute effective business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Identify new markets, product/service offerings, and innovative approaches to drive revenue growth.
- Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM software.
- Forecast sales targets and monitor progress towards achieving sales goals.
- Coordinate with marketing, product development, and other teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to client onboarding.
- Gather insights from different departments to enhance products/services based on client feedback and market demands.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s/MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (2 years) in business development, sales, or a related role within the IT industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and credibility with clients and team members.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence potential clients.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, competition, and client needs to develop effective business strategies.
- Proven track record of successfully building and maintaining long-term business relationships.
- An extensive network within the industry or market segment is advantageous.
- Driven by achieving and exceeding sales targets and contributing to overall company growth.
- Ability to handle rejection and setbacks while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and tailor strategies accordingly.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and reporting tools.
